Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customize my order?  Make minor changes?  Add a different logo?

We are not a custom shop and do not customize our products.  Instead we put our effort into standard designs that have broad appeal and allow us to make small runs.  This keeps our lead times down and helps us to serve you faster.  If you have input for future designs, then please share your ideas with us.  We are constantly looking for ways to improve our offering.

How long will I have to wait for my order?

Our lead times will vary according to season and demand, but in general the product will ship in 3 to 4 weeks from the time of your order.

Will the color match what I see on my screen?

We attempt to provide images of our products that closely match their actual colors. However, there is always the chance of losing a little in translation due to differences in lighting, digital imagery, and computer monitors.  Slight color variations can also occur between runs of leather we receive from the tannery.

I found a mark on the leather – is this a defect?

Leather is a natural material made from the hides of animals. Each hide bears the nicks and scars that marked the animal during its lifetime. These natural characteristics are not defects and are considered marks of distinction in full grain leather, adding to the unique appeal of each finished product.

How do I care for the leather?

Wipe dust and dirt from the surface of the leather with a soft dry cloth.  If the leather becomes wet, then simply allow to air dry (do not apply heat).   A light scratch can be made less noticeable by rubbing the area with your finger.   If you choose to use a leather conditioner, then always test a small inconspicuous area first before completely applying.   When storing your leather avoid plastic bags and prolonged extremes in temperature and humidity.
