Shaun Mangan is a 17-year sales and marketing veteran.  If you’re looking for someone who knows what the inside of an airplane looks like, you found him.

Educated as an electrical engineer, he eventually went to night school to learn about the world of business and to earn an MBA.  Prior to founding M&W Traveler he held executive positions in sales, marketing, international sales, and business unit management. 

During his tenure as a sales and marketing professional he spearheaded efforts with distribution programs, OEM business development, new product introductions, business division creation, business unit creation, and new international operations.  These efforts involved managing multi-million dollar budgets, the creation of dozens of new jobs, and the addition of tens of millions in revenue and profits.  It also launched him into business travel all over the world: Japan, China, Taiwan, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Canada, Mexico, and India.

Before entering into sales and marketing as a career, Shaun spent 5 years in the US Air Force.  He trained as a Weapons Controller on the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and later served in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Provide Comfort.  He logged over 2000 hours of flight time and got his first taste of world travel in places like Iceland, England, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.  Shaun earned the rank of Captain and was awarded an Air Medal before making his way to the civilian world.

Today you’ll find Shaun living in Tulsa, Oklahoma happily married to his Air Force sweetheart.  He has two teenage daughters (heaven help him), and a golden retriever named Red.
